You didn’t ignore the problem.
You did what motivated, responsible professionals do:
- Took more courses
- Collected more techniques
- Learned new routines
- Added tools to your toolbox
- Saved stretches from Instagram
Each one helped — for a bit.
You felt more confident temporarily.
Sessions felt smoother… until something changed.
Because all of these solutions do the same thing:
They give you more options —
not a way to choose between them.
So when a client tightens up differently than expected…
when breathing changes…
when a stretch doesn’t land the way you thought it would…
You’re left improvising.
And improvisation without structure feels like guessing —
even when you’re experienced.
That’s why nothing ever fully “sticks.”
Not because you chose the wrong tools.
But because none of them taught you how to decide.
